Total Overhaul and New Electronic Control System
Ardmore Moravian Church
Winston-Salem, NC
At the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016, we undertook a local project at Ardmore Moravian Church in Winston-Salem, NC. The organ, built by the Dutch firm Verschueren in 1968, was in a state of severe disrepair. Our firm performed a complete overhaul of the entire instrument, including the replacement of pneumatics, electronics, and the installation of a brand-new capture system. We meticulously disassembled every component—no detail was overlooked.
The woodworking of both the façade and the console was restored to like-new condition, and all pipes were revoiced. The organ is now fully restored and ready to serve for another 50 years.
